July 4th Festival - Music, Food and Fun!
Due to Oregon Health Authority restrictions in place for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the City will not be hosting our July 4th Festival this year. We would like to thank you for your support in past years and plan to bring you an even bigger and better event in 2021!
Below is an list of the events that usually happen within the Festival!
The City of Monmouth sponsors a July 4th Festival The festival is held in Main Street Park. The festival emphasizes the arts and includes music, dance, theater, crafts for kids and an art show.
The park is alive with food and craft vendors. All items need to be handcrafted.

and booth location, and submit it with pictures of your items.
We have expanded our hands-on Arts & Crafts for children to include adults! If you are interested in hosting an arts and craft session.
Sponsored by the Willamette Valley Road Runners, begins at 11 am on July 4th, just before the Children's Parade. The run is from City Hall in Monmouth to City Hall in Independence. It has been a part of the celebration for over 40 years! Entry form
CHILDREN'S MINI PARADE
Is something fun for the kids to do after the Mini-Marathon and before the Grand Parade. No entry is needed. It runs from Jackson Street & Monmouth Avenue down to Knox Street. Be sure to be in line before 11:30 a.m.
THE GRAND PARADE
The Rotary sponsored parade is on July 4th and the streets are lined with chairs two days before! The parade runs from Monmouth Avenue to Main Street to Riverview Park in Independence and goes right by the park! Click here for the entry form!
