Police Officer - Full time, fully funded police officer position.  Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent, 21 years of age and possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license. Police Department Employment Application

Community Service Officer ($17.85/Hour).  This  is a part-time (20 - 25 hours per week), exempt position with limited benefits. Responds to complaints of reported city ordinance violations related to nuisances.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent, be 18 years of age and possess a valid Oregon driver's license. Complete City of Monmouth Application and submit it to the Monmouth Police Department at 450 Pacific Hwy N, Monmouth, OR 97361.
CSO Employment Opportunity

Seasonal Park Maintenance ($11.50/Hour). This is a temporary seasonal position within our Public Works, Park Department. Position will be from Mid-June through September. The Park Maintenance employee must have basic knowledge and ability to perform landscape maintenance and custodial cleaning tasks. Some weekend work will be required. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age and must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Complete City of Monmouth Application and submit to the Monmouth Public Works Department at 401 Hogan Road, Monmouth OR 97361 no later than 3pm on May 20th, 2019.
Seasonal Park Maintenance Opportunity

Residential Combination Inspector  

 ($4,749 - $6,383 per month plus benefits.  Fully paid PERS, competitive medical, dental, and vision plans.  10 Paid holidays, sick time and vacation.  Inspect residential buildings and conduct residential plan review for State and City code compliance.  Inspection to consist of Structural, Plumbing Mechanical, and Electrical.  Assist as needed for permit application, and customer service.  Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, and possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Oregon Driver’s license.  If the applicant has a valid driver’s license applicant must have a good driving record.  Possess the following State of Oregon Certifications.  Oregon Inspector Certification, Residential Structural, Residential Plumbing, Residential Electrical, Residential Mechanical Inspector Certifications and Residential Plans Examiner Certifications.  Be familiar with the State of Oregon e permitting system.
