Ash Creek Arts Center

Ash Creek Arts Center was founded in December 2013. We began offering classes and workshops to our community in January 2014 starting with our popular Saturday Family Art Classes, which we still offer on the second weekend each month.? ?We have expanded our offerings to include free and low-cost classes in the visual, literary, and performing arts for adults and children throughout the year.

River Gallery 

A cooperatively owned showcase of works from Polk County artists and artisans. Art includes beadwork, woodwork, pottery, water colors, photography, quilts, metal work, jewelry, and much more. Located in downtown Independence at 184 S Main St. (503-838-6171)

WOU Dan and Gail Cannon Gallery of Art

The Western Oregon University Arts Department maintains this gallery which features six exhibitions during the school year and one in the summer. The exhibit is in the historic, beautifully renovated Campbell Hall. (503-838-8607)
